Hop on the elliptical machine
I know what you’re thinking — “duh!” The elliptical is a pretty obvious choice when it comes to getting exercise at home. But hear me out — there’s a reason why it’s obvious: it’s just a downright smart choice when it comes to exercise.
There are a ton of different elliptical exercise machines out there for you to choose from, all depending on what your budget is. But you can get a pretty decent one that gets the job done for just a few hundred bucks — there’s no need to spend thousands for all the bells and whistles unless you just really want them. Don’t let good marketing tell you otherwise.
Ellipticals are great low-impact exercise machines that are ideal for people like me who aren’t fans of running outside or on a treadmill. Most ellipticals generally come with a screen that tells you how far you’ve gone, your heart rate, speed, and more. More expensive ones will give you a TV-like screen with set exercises and more. But if you’re shopping on the less-expensive side, many have spots for phones and tablets.
